The ideal candidate has 2+ years drafting with Civil 3D AutoCAD, can travel for field data collection, and is comfortable working in all weather conditions. This role requires QA to deliverables meeting standards and the ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• 2+ years drafting with Civil 3D AutoCAD required.
• Ability to travel for field data collection and measurements.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Field, draft, and design existing and planned wireline fiber projects.
• Proficient with Civil 3D AutoCAD and related CAD management tools.
• Travel as needed to collect field information using GPS devices.
• Develop or modify deliverables based on GIS data, ROW research and field notes.
• Create layouts, sections and details as required by projects.
• Learn project standards and procedures and apply QA practices.
• Perform material quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
• Adapt to new programs or processes required for assignments.
• Continuously evaluate methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
