Job summary

HGA in Minneapolis, MN or Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Site/Civil AutoCAD Technician and Designer to join the Civil Engineering Department. You will develop construction drawings and 2D/3D models for land development, collaborating with engineers, architects, and planners on high-impact projects shaping communities.

The role requires AutoCAD Civil 3D expertise and a related degree, with 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree related to C3D drawing production.
2+ years of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
Ability to read and translate civil site plans and survey drawings.
Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed technical drawings and construction plans based on project specifications and requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project goals and objectives and ensure seamless integration of design elements into overall project plans.
Create 2D and 3D models for land development infrastructure such as site layout, grading, roadways, and utilities.
Review and modify drawings to correct errors and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Maintain organized files and documentation to support the editing and development of AutoCAD blocks, details, and CAD templates for use in drawings.
