Qualifications

• Five to nine years of progressively responsible professional experience, preferably in municipal government or a related public-sector environment.
• A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred.
• Relevant professional experience may substitute for some or all of the educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for municipal operations.
• Collaborate with elected officials, staff, residents, businesses, and community organizations.
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and capital development.
• Foster economic development, housing, Downtown revitalization, and infrastructure planning.

Education

Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, political science, or a related field

Master's degree in public administration (MPA) or a related field is preferred
