Job summary

The City of Marshall is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker to support the Street Department. The role involves maintenance and repair of public works facilities, operating light equipment, and servicing streets, parks, and the airport, with focus on the storm sewer system.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a MN Class B CDL with airbrakes/tankers or ability to obtain, and 1 year of related experience in construction and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid MN Class B CDL with endorsements for airbrakes and tankers or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• At least 1 year in construction-related work (carpentry, welding, landscaping, masonry, asphalt).
• At least 1 year operating trucks and light equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of public works facilities.
• Operate light equipment and trucks for streets, parks, airport maintenance.
• Provide maintenance to the storm sewer system and related facilities.
