Responsibilities

• Picks up and collects trash/litter and commercial refuse.
• Maintains upkeep of clean city streets, facility grounds and thoroughfares as assigned.
• Loads and unloads materials and equipment, lifts and moves furniture or other material assigned.
• May operate standard and automatic shift vehicles such as pick-up truck and lawn equipment in performing assigned task.
• Notifies supervisor of repairs and maintenance work needed.
• Performs routine cleaning such as mopping, sweeping and cleaning restrooms of assigned buildings, facilities, grounds and equipment.
