Job summary

Reporting to the Director of Development Services, you will oversee a multi-million dollar program and manage cross‑functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree, eight years of progressive civil engineering experience including three years of supervisory responsibility, and a California P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• Eight years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience including three years of supervisory responsibility.
• Registration as a California Professional Civil Engineer required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering in land development, capital improvement projects, transportation planning and inspection.
• Oversee budgets including a $3.6 million operating budget and a $22 million CIP.
• Provide project management support for Utilities Department and lead major infrastructure projects.
