City of Baytown is seeking a Budget Analyst to assist in preparing and coordinating the annual City budget and long-range forecasts. You will help maintain the general ledger, analyze financial transactions, and support quarterly and annual financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and coordinating the City’s annual budget and long-range forecast.
• Maintain the City’s general ledger and review financial transactions for quarterly/annual reports.
• Support audits and CAFR preparation; assist in updating financial procedures as needed.
• Coordinate position control information with departments, Payroll and HR.
• Participate in annual budget, year-end audit and CAFR processes; perform related duties.
