Provide training to elected officials and staff on legal topics affecting municipal operations

Represents the city in civil litigations, administrative hearings, and negotiations, manage and coordinate outside legal counsel when necessary

Ensure compliance with the Texas Open Meeting Act, public Information act, and other relevant statues and regulations

Attending and advice during City Council meetings, and other official proceedings

Provides legal advice and counsel to the Mayor, City Council, City Secretary, department directors on all matters related to the official duties, compliance and city affairs
