Job summary

Green Key Resources is partnering with a leading investment management firm in New York to recruit a Senior Desktop Support Engineer / Citrix Engineer. This hands-on role combines Citrix administration, white-glove IT support, and day-to-day infrastructure operations for roughly 60 employees.

You will administer CVAD, resolve desktop and Citrix issues, support Microsoft 365 and AD/Entra ID, and collaborate with the Infrastructure Director on technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Citrix administration and user support experience.
• Strong background in Windows desktop environments and MS 365.
• Familiarity with AD/Entra ID/Intune and endpoint management.

New York, NY (4 days onsite)

We're partnering with a leading investment management firm seeking a Senior Desktop Support Engineer / Citrix Engineer to join a small, highly visible IT team supporting approximately 60 employees. This is a hands-on role combining Citrix administration, white-glove IT support, and day-to-day infrastructure operations. You'll work closely with the Infrastructure Director and serve as a key technology resource for the business.

What You'll Do

• Administer and support the firm's Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD) environment
• Troubleshoot virtual desktops, published applications, and end-user Citrix issues
• Provide high-touch IT support to employees and senior business stakeholders
• Serve as a primary point of contact for desktop, laptop, mobile, and Microsoft 365 support needs
• Support Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and patching efforts
• Handle onboarding, offboarding, hardware deployments, and technology requests
• Partner with the Infrastructure Director on operational improvements and technology initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience supporting or administering Citrix environments
• Strong desktop support and end-user support background
• Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune
• Familiarity with VDI, thin clients, or Dell Wyse environments
• PowerShell experience is a plus
• Financial services, hedge fund, investment management, or MSP experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
