Job summary

Conservation Legacy in Marrero, LA, seeks an AmeriCorps Citizen Science Coordinator to expand off-site educational programming for area schools. You will develop and deliver curriculum-based programs, support community outreach, and strengthen educator partnerships in service to the National Park Service mission.

The role includes organizing events, evaluating student and teacher outcomes, and presenting hands-on science topics such as water quality and wildlife habitat restoration to youth at

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent required.
Experience working with youth preferred.
Ability to develop and deliver hands-on curricula and programs.

Responsibilities

Deliver off-site programs in local schools.
Develop relationships with teachers and assist with curriculum.
Support curriculum development and educator collaboration.
Create two new curriculum-based programs and evaluate feedback.
Produce monthly program reports with attendance numbers and materials.
