The Citi Retail Services (CRS) Partner Marketing team leads all marketing efforts for the CRS business. The CMO, Tractor Supply Co. Credit Program is seeking a strategic marketing leader who drives growth for a key Citi partnership throughout the client lifecycle, from account opening through retention. The individual in this partner-facing role monitors industry trends relevant to credit marketing and retail and adapts them for application within the Tractor Supply portfolio, developing, managing and executing omni-channel campaigns from both Citi and partner channels to support growth.

The CMO, Tractor Supply Co. Credit Program will serve as a primary day-to-day contact with Citi's Partner Management team, internal cross-functional teams, as well as our Tractor Supply partner to drive new accounts and usage that will generate profitable sales for both Citi and Tractor Supply. The CMO will be expected to challenge the status quo and drive innovation through digital and traditional marketing channels, communication sequencing, integration in the customer shopping journey, and targeting optimization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and own the annual marketing plan to drive growth for key clients - inclusive of campaign strategies, sequencing, segmentation, and offers.
  2. Work with the client and agencies to create best-in-class, omnichannel marketing strategies and communications that drive customer action.
  3. Facilitate / lead strategic and tactical marketing discussions with Partners.
  4. Manage/facilitate necessary approvals for initiatives including funding approval, legal, and compliance, ensuring all campaigns adhere to legal, compliance, and control requirements with proper documentation.
  5. Manage the annual financial budget for applicable programs, including monthly forecasts and budget reconciliation.
  6. Manage, track, and coordinate multiple projects and resource planning.
  7. Meet all expectations for risk and issue management.
  8. Monitor and analyze campaign performance effectiveness, portfolio analytics, and trends to recommend future campaign/testing strategies.

Qualifications:

  1. 6-10 years of experience in Marketing and retail bank/financial services industry.
  2. Attention to detail, advanced project management skills, good communication, and problem-solving skills.
  3. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  4. Creative problem solving and a sense of ownership.
  5. Solid communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  6. Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  13. Knowledge of private label credit cards and consumer finance is a significant plus.

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
