Job summary

Pilot Assessments in the United States seeks a Pilot in Command to operate company aircraft safely and efficiently on every leg. You will manage duty, flight, and rest times according to policy and FAA regulations, lead flight preparation, and oversee post-flight reporting.

Qualifications

• Flight experience minimums: 3,500 total time; 2,000 PIC; 1,500 multi-engine (incl. 500 multi-engine PIC); 500 turbine; 300 instrument; 250 hours in type (Citation XLS+); 250 PIC in type.
• Ability to obtain an ATP certificate and current First Class Medical.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States; passport and FCC Radio Operator Permit; ability to travel to Canada/Caribbean; PRD review with a System Chief Pilot.

Job description

Your mission

• Serve as Pilot in Command, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of company aircraft on every leg.
• Manage duty, flight, and rest times per company policy and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Lead all phases of flight preparation and execution, including operational communications, flight-document management, and post-flight reporting.
• Administer and maintain Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications; keep charts, publications, and manuals current.
• Exercise strong, proactive decision-making and champion Jet Linx core values in all interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre-/post-flight reports.
• Ensure all operations adhere to company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Keep personal qualifications current, including a First Class Medical.

Minimum qualifications

• Flight experience minimums

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Comfort working in and around aircraft/terminals; ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with random drug and alcohol testing (including marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and amphetamines) for safety-sensitive functions

Preferred: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the past 24 months.
