Job summary

STA Jets is seeking a qualified Citation X crew member for base in Orange County, CA (KSNA). The role requires ATP certs, First Class medical, and proximity to KSNA. Roster is 10 days on / 10 days off, with a focus on safety, customer service, and brand representation.

The candidate should have extensive flight time, multi-engine PIC, and support for type-specific training. U.S. residency or work authorization is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA ATP with multi-engine land; unrestricted ATP or eligibility per 14 CFR 61.160.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Residence within 1.5-hour drive of KSNA.
• Total time require: 2,500+ hours; 1,000+ hours multi-engine PIC; 500 multi-engine; 250 PIC in type.

What you’ll bring

• Certificates: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with multi-engine land. Unrestricted ATP or eligibility for Restricted ATP per 14 CFR 61.160 (ATP CTP completion if applicable).
• Medical: Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Proximity: Residence within a 1.5-hour drive of KSNA.
• Experience (to be confirmed): Target minimums include 2,500 hours total time; 1,000 hours fixed-wing multi-engine PIC; 500 hours total multi-engine; and 250 PIC hours in type (Citation X). Note: The published multi-engine PIC figure exceeds total multi-engine time and will be validated during screening.
• Preferred: Current Citation X type rating and recent type training event.
• Work authorization: U.S. residency or valid U.S. work authorization.
• Background & currency: Three years of verifiable work history; disclosure of any felony or DUI convictions, accidents/incidents, and failed Part 121/135 check rides; ongoing medical eligibility.
• Endorsements: High-altitude endorsement (or ability to obtain if required).
