Summary and Objective
The Second In Command (SIC) reports administratively to the Chief Pilot. The home base for this position is the Greater Pittsburgh Area, and residency within that region is required. The SIC assists the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during flight, helping to prepare and ensure the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Essential Functions
- Ensure safe and efficient flight operations for domestic trip assignments under Part 135 regulations while maintaining high customer service standards.
- Adhere to all duties and responsibilities outlined in company procedures manuals.
- Maintain a current first-class medical certificate as required and notify the company of any medical conditions that may impair flight duties.
- Maintain professionalism and demonstrate leadership in coordinating the crew.
- Greet passengers, assist with seating and luggage storage.
- Conduct passenger briefings and respond to passenger needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Dress Code and Travel

- Travel required 100% on rotation.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Knowledge of FAR Part 135, FAA, ICAO, international flight regulations.
- Understanding of aircraft systems and limitations.
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and meet objectives.
- Skill in resolving technical issues, interpreting documentation.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in word processing, email, web applications.
- Detail-oriented, professional, well-groomed.
- ATP certification, FAA First Class Medical, Type Rating - Citation CJ3.
- Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time, including 200 hours multi-engine.
- Valid passport, ability to obtain CANPASS, and eligibility for FAA safety-sensitive roles.
