Job summary

SkyShare is seeking a highly skilled Citation CE-525 Captain to join our Part 135 flight department based in Salt Lake City, UT. You will deliver exceptional service and safety, flying a premium fleet with a focus on customer experiences and operational excellence.

The role demands up to 14 hours per day, eight consecutive days, and a flexible schedule including overnights and travel. Relocation within two months is expected if not nearby.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial or ATP certificate required or equivalent.
• Current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate required.
• Experience with high-safety standards and FAA regulations preferred.

The Mission for this Position: As a pilot at SkyShare, you will be part of our exciting Part 135 flight department, which is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will utilize your flying expertise to deliver our clients the highest level of service and safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices.
• Perform duties of up to 14 hours per day during trips for as many as 8 consecutive days, often crossing multiple time zones and navigating drastically different weather conditions.
• As part of your rotation, you will have a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. You will also be available for overnight trips, spending several days and nights away from home in hotels.
• Must reside within 1 hour of the Ogden, UT Airport or commit to relocating within two months of hire. Commuting is not an option for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be current and qualified in the 525 series
• FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate category and class
• Minimum 3000 hours total flight time, including:
  • 250 hours as PIC
  • 500 hours of multi
  • 300 hours of jet
  • 200 hours of instrument
• Valid FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• FAA Instrument Rating
• Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license
• Current IFR knowledge and experience
• Garmin 1000/3000 preferred
• Prior Part 135 experience preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be able to pass TSA background checks and secure an appropriate SIDA badge when applicable

Salary, Schedule, and Perks

• Salary: $145,000 - $160,000 annually, based on experience and time in type
• Schedule: This is a dedicated position on a managed aircraft - the schedule will be fluid
