Valparaiso University’s Center for Innovation in Teaching, Assessment, and Learning seeks an Instructional Designer to support faculty-wide online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses. You will design, develop and evaluate courses, applying best practices in teaching and learning across the university.
You will partner with faculty, deliver workshops on instructional technology, manage multiple projects, and help transition courses to hybrid or online formats while ensuring alignment with outcomes
The Valparaiso University Center for Innovation in Teaching, Assessment, and Learning (CITAL) is seeking an Instructional Designer. Reporting to the Executive Director of CITAL, you would work with fellow CITAL teammates and other University members to create the best teaching and learning environments for faculty and students. Being a Valpo Instructional Designer, you would provide campus-wide support for faculty and departments offering face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses and programs. We are seeking someone to manage course design and development processes, evaluate course design, and apply best practices in teaching and learning in course designs.
