A/U Ranches in Buena Vista, CO seeks a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) trainer to lead and strengthen the CIT program across Sky Valley Ranch and Round-Up Ranch. You will foster a strong CIT community, deliver leadership training, and provide ongoing feedback while modeling Christian Science in daily operations.

The role requires engaging with youth, coordinating with directors and managers, and living the values of the organization in a seasonal, on-site setting.

Job Details: Job Location: Buena Vista, CO 81211, Position Type: Seasonal Staff, The CIT trainer is responsible for facilitating the counselor-in-training (CIT) program and supporting CITs working at both Sky Valley Ranch and Round-Up Ranch. Responsibilities include leading the development of a strong CIT community, delivering leadership training for CITs, providing CITs with ongoing feedback and support, and modeling what it means to live Christian Science. The CIT trainer shares fresh ideas for the CIT program and contributes to strengthening the A/U Ranches' CIT training model. This position works in close collaboration with the program and camp directors and lodge managers.

Qualifications:

• Live a demonstrated commitment to Christian Science
• At least 21 years old at time of employment, college graduate preferred
• Willingness to uphold high moral and ethical standards
• Enthusiasm for working with young people with love, patience, and consistency
• Ability to work work independently, managing time and tasks efficiently
• Ability to flexibly support in a variety of areas as needs arise
• Ability to participate in outdoor adventure and recreational activities
• Ability and willingness to live in a cabin with other staff when needed
