Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead its information security and cybersecurity programs. This role plays a critical part in the Bank’s executive team, establishing a robust security framework that meets regulatory expectations.

The CISO will oversee cybersecurity governance, technical controls, and coordinate risk oversight, ensuring a strong security posture aligned with the organization's growth. Candidates should have significant leadership experience and a proven track record in compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in information security and technology risk management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership capacity at a regulated financial institution or Fintech.
• Strong familiarity with third-party risk frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the Information Security Program consistent with FDIC guidance.
• Establish and manage a threat monitoring and detection capability.
• Lead the Incident Response Program and coordinate with regulators.
