Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join the team in Seattle, Washington. The CISO will establish and lead the Bank’s information security and cybersecurity programs, ensuring compliance and security of data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security governance, technical controls, and third-party risk oversight. You will build a culture of security awareness and ensure integrated security practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• 10 years of information security and technology risk management experience.
• 5 years in a leadership position at a financial institution or Fintech.
• Experience designing programs compliant with FDIC standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of information security governance and technical controls.
• Manage third-party risk oversight and compliance with data protection laws.
• Coordinate regular testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
