Job summary

Eon is hiring its first Chief Information Security Officer to lead security end-to-end—from strategy to execution—at a high-growth cloud SaaS company. You will own the security program, build the team, and partner with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Legal to safeguard customer data while enabling growth.

You will interact with the CEO, board, and customers, shaping security policy, risk management, and regulatory readiness as Eon scales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in senior security leadership.
• Proven track record building and scaling security programs in SaaS/cloud.
• Extensive experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and FedRAMP audits.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Eon's security strategy, roadmap, and budget.
• Build and lead the security function and team as the company scales.
• Ensure compliant posture across SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, FedRAMP.
• Partner with product/engineering to embed secure-by-design and manage incidents.
• Represent security to board, regulators, and customers.
