Job summary

Verily Health is seeking an experienced Security leader to build, mentor, and guide a 20-person team charged with securing products, data, and customers. You will drive security strategy across external products and internal systems, partnering across Legal, IT, and Clinical teams.

You will recruit top security talent, scale AI-driven tools, and engage with customers and industry peers to advance privacy and data protection.

Qualifications

8+ years managing security engineering or information security teams.
10+ years of technical security experience across software and tools.
5+ years with cloud and enterprise security systems (pre/post-sales).
Proven ability to align security with software engineering.
Experience with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 governance and controls.

Responsibilities

Set Verily's security strategy and roadmap for external products and internal systems.
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-caliber security team.
Scale and adopt AI-driven security tools with engineering to boost security and privacy.
Collaborate with senior leaders across Engineering, Product, Clinical, Regulatory, IT, Legal, Finance and Commercial.
Represent the company externally with customers and industry security groups.
