Job summary

Alaskajobs is seeking a Program Coordinator 1 to lead the statewide Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and Peer Support program for Alaska Department of Corrections employees. The role coordinates education, planning, and implementation of wellness initiatives across the agency.

Under the Criminal Justice Planner, you will oversee CISM/PS education at the Academy, support wellness activities, and assist with critical incident reviews.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, implement and oversee the Department's statewide CISM/Peer Support Program for employees.
• Oversee a portion of the wellness block related to CISM/PS education and assist with critical incident reviews as needed.
• Travel to Academy locations as required to present and coordinate program activities.
• Collaborate with the Wellness Unit and Criminal Justice Planner to mitigate stress impacts and support employee well-being.
