Job summary

SV Tech Systems is seeking a network security specialist to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on hardware/software security platforms, including Cisco, Checkpoint, and F5 devices, with hands-on troubleshooting and monitoring across multiple vendor technologies.

The ideal candidate will configure, monitor, and troubleshoot VPNs, NATs, IPS/IDS, and firewall policies, while maintaining log health, performance metrics, and security posture for diverse client environments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of network security with HW/SW experience on Cisco, Checkpoint, F5 devices.
• Experience with Cisco and Arista switches.
• Understand and troubleshoot STP, EtherChannel, switchports, syslogs.
• VPN setup and site-to-site VPN troubleshooting.
• Policy and image management, NATs, and failover concepts.

Responsibilities

• General all-round knowledge of network security with HW/SW experience on Cisco, Checkpoint, F5 devices.
• Cisco and Arista Switches, understand and troubleshoot STP, Ether channels, switchports, syslogs.
• Monitoring health stats and performance metrics.
• Understand and troubleshoot Routing, Syslogs, ACLs, HSRP.
• VPN setup and site-to-site VPN troubleshooting.
