Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a full-time Network Engineer to join a small, hands-on IT team in Canton, GA. The role focuses on Cisco networking, segmentation, and modernization, with an on-site schedule five days a week and an on-call rotation.

The team collaborates on firewall upgrades, DoD/CMMC alignment, and infrastructure upgrades to enhance reliability. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of networking experience, cloud/virtualization familiarity, and strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network infrastructure experience (Cisco routers, switches, and chassis).
• 3+ years of systems administration (Windows networking, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory).
• 3+ years of experience with Azure and Nutanix or similar virtualization platforms.
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls, Aruba Wireless (Aruba Central), and data center server hardware.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Cisco-based network environments.
• Lead network segmentation and compliance projects (CMMC readiness).
• Manage firewalls, VLANs, and routing configurations.
• Oversee Nutanix virtual infrastructure and system backups.
• Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshoot critical issues.
