Overview

Senior Domain Lead / Event Manager role responsible for conceptualizing, planning and producing US tradeshows and Cisco Flagship events, from major product launches to intimate workshops, with engagements for different audience levels.

Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize, plan and produce US Tradeshows and US Cisco Flagship events, spanning major product launches to intimate workshops and engagements for different audience levels.
  • Lead field event planning and logistics, from initial planning to on-site management and post-event follow-up, including shipping, transportation, data cleansing, archiving, and maintenance of assets; collaborate with professionals across security and Cisco corporate-wide events.
  • Collaborate with an in-house team of event managers and strategists, external contractors, and event agency partners.
  • Partner with marketing leaders across Security & Infrastructure teams to implement seamless event experiences tied to core product launches.
  • Define and manage logistical aspects of Cisco's event presence, including booth design, catering, entertainment, transportation, invitations, speaker arrangements, equipment, promotional items, and printed materials.
  • Drive research, information gathering, and contract negotiations for event services; ensure alignment and information flow with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports to evaluate team effectiveness, event size and attendance.
  • Ensure event activities comply with legal, insurance, sustainability, health and safety regulations.
  • Measure event efficiency via post-mortem activities, collaborate with MOPs team to assess lead results, and develop follow-up decks.
  • Monitor competitive activities and stay informed about industry event trends; innovate within events space, including adoption of AI technologies to improve experiences.
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create email and landing page promotions in Marketo for segmentation and distribution.
  • Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters.
  • Hands-on Salesforce.com management, including daily data cleansing, creating target reports, campaigns, and campaign tracking.
