• Position Type: Support Staff/ Teacher Assistant

Kishwaukee Education Consortium has an opening for a part‑time Teaching Assistant (TA) to support the Computer Information Systems (CIS) Instructor for the 2024‑2025 school year. The KEC CIS program is a two‑year program, equipping high school students in a broad range of computer topics. The TA will support the CIS Instructor and will need to be knowledgeable in various computer fields. A background in CompTIA certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute in‑class computer lab lessons or practice exercises pertaining to the relevant subject matter
• Take daily attendance

The CIS course is held daily from 12:45 – 2:15 at KEC. Initially, the TA will work 3 days a week, from 12:30 – 2:30, with possible opportunities for growth. The pay is $20.00‑$23.00 per hour, based on the TA candidate's prior experience, certifications, and/or degrees.
