Job summary

Spektrum is seeking a seasoned CIS security professional to support NATO-related projects in Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on accreditation, documentation, and ensuring security controls are properly implemented across CIS programs.

Required are a CIS security certification, 5+ years of related experience, and a NATO clearance. The position is on-site with rigorous collaboration across multinational teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Certification in CIS security or cyber defence disciplines (CISSP, GIAC, CISM).
• Minimum 5 years in CIS security, CIS development or CIS service delivery.
• Within 5 years, at least 3 years in national/international/multi-national CIS security accreditation or similar.
• Advanced English per STANAG 6001 or equivalent.
• Active NATO or National SECRET security clearance.
• Valid NATO Nation passport with no travel restrictions.
• Minimum 70 Points in the Subject Matter Expert Criteria.
• Strong writing skills to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Strong verbal communication to senior leadership; able to take and ask questions clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project, MS Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of CIS progress through NATO security accreditation processes.
• Review security accreditation documentation and recommend approvals.
• Ensure verification activities verify implemented security measures.
• Provide support and guidance to CIS developers and service providers.
• Contribute to updates of the security risk statements for ACT CIS.
• Liaise with other roles in the Security Accreditation process.
• Represent the ACT SAA in NATO Enterprise meetings (in person or via VTC).
