Job description

Join to apply for the Cirrus Driver - Materials Handler role at Cirrus.

Schedule: Tues - Fri, 6am - 4:30pm

Member of the warehouse operations team responsible for delivering parts and finished goods to and from Cirrus facilities using a Cirrus truck. Follows a daily trucking schedule to ensure timely deliveries. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and aircraft parts in an aircraft manufacturing environment. Reports to the Cirrus Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Duties
  1. Driving delivery trucks to and from Cirrus facilities.
  2. Managing multiple requests efficiently.
  3. Unpacking, examining, counting, and labeling incoming materials.
  4. Recording receipts and reporting discrepancies.
  5. Matching paperwork such as packing slips and certifications with purchase orders.
  6. Transporting goods, utilizing material handling equipment and vehicles.
  7. Performing receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  8. Ensuring proper product handling and storage to prevent damage.
  9. Preparing aircraft parts for shipment to the Aftermarket customer base.
  10. Preparing aircraft parts for delivery to the production floor in a timely fashion.
  11. Maintaining inventory control and management system, including work order closing.
  12. Supporting all facility regulatory and safety codes.
  13. Maintaining inventory accuracy and accessibility.
  14. Obtaining DOT certification (able to acquire at hire).
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience/training or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s license required.
  • Aviation-related technical degrees preferred but not required.
  • Warehouse operations experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate handheld inventory scanners and computers with Windows OS.
  • Knowledge of aircraft/parts is a plus.
