Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Circulator RN in Surgical Services. This casual, per diem role is based in Deckerville, Michigan and requires a dedicated, patient‑focused professional to join our perioperative team.

You will provide professional perioperative nursing care, coordinate care planning with multiple disciplines, and contribute to delivering high‑quality patient care during the perioperative period.

Qualifications

• RN license in Michigan and current BLS are required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire and PALS within 1 year are required.
• Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam within 3 months or CAMMP within 1 year as alternative.
• Minimum 1 year experience as circulator RN.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional peri-operative nursing care.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in Michigan
• Current BLS
• ACLS required within 6 months of Hire. PALS required within 1 year of hire.
• Must pass Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam within 3 months of hire; may retake test only once -OR-CAMMP (Dysrhythmia Interpretation and Management Course) must completed within one year of hire if unable to pass Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam.
• Minimum 1 year experience as circulator RN.
• Interpersonal skills: supportive, active listener, effective communicator with patient, family members, medical and hospital staff, ability to work as a team member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides professional peri-operative nursing care. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Oversees the successful delivery of quality patient care in the peri-operative period.
