Job summary

City of Oregon City is seeking a Circulation Coordinator to lead the Circulation division, coordinating daily activities and service desks while mentoring staff. You will oversee check-in/check-out, holds, AMH/ILS processes, and reporting of performance metrics.

The role requires evening and weekend availability and a commitment to excellent customer service within a busy public library environment. Experience in leadership and library operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Post high school education or GED required.
• Two years of progressive experience in library circulation operations.
• One year of leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of library staff in daily Circulation operations.
• Coordinate division activities and services at service desks.
• Provide onboarding and training for new hires; develop training materials.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
• Collaborate with other library departments and external partners.
