Job summary

AREA TEMPS, INC. is seeking a Technician in the Greater Cleveland area to operate manual machinery including cylindrical grinders and edge bevellers.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings and accurately using measuring tools such as tape measure, micrometer and dial caliper. The candidate should be mechanically inclined with basic industrial experience, familiar with manual machine tools, and prepared to wear PPE.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience operating cylindrical grinder and edge beveller.
• Must be mechanically inclined with basic industrial experience.
• Familiar with manual machine tools.
• Ability to understand mechanical drawings.
• Ability to accurately use measurement tools (tape, scale, micrometer, caliper).
• Steel toed boots required.
• Effective communicator, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, organized and reliable.
• Willingness to wear PPE.

Job Description

A small manufacturing company is seeking a Technician who will be operating machinery such as cylindrical grinder and edge beveller. Workhours are Monday to Fridayfrom 8 a.m.to 4:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

• Operatemanual machine tools
• Read and understand mechanical drawings
• Properly use tape measure, scale, micrometer, dial caliper, or othermeasuring instruments

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must havepreviously experience operating a cylindrical grinder and edge beveller
• Must be a mechanically inclined individual with basic industrial experience
• Must be familiar with manual machine tools
• Must have the ability to understand mechanical drawings
• Must be able to accuratelyuse tape measure, scale, micrometer, and dial caliper
• Must have steel toed boots
• Must be an effective communicator, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, organized, and reliable.
• Must be comfortable wearing required PPE
