Lockheed Martin is seeking a Circuit Design Engineer to develop avionics hardware for space missions. You will design, analyze, and qualify digital and analog circuits, perform worst‑case and FMEA analyses, and run simulations to ensure flight‑ready performance in harsh space environments.

We are looking for a creative Circuit Design Engineer to join an exciting and dynamic team where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.
This position does not support teleworking. You will need to live near our Lockheed Martin Space facility and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
The Circuit Design Engineer will design, analyze, and qualify advanced avionics hardware for space missions, creating and validating digital and analog schematics, performing worst‑case, stress, and FMEA analyses, and running simulations with tools such as CadencePSpice and Saber. Using Zuken or SiemensXpedition for schematic capture and EPCAD/Siemens for PCB layout. In short, the role is a blend of hands‑on hardware development, rigorous analytical validation, cross‑team collaboration, and documentation/communication—all aimed at delivering flight‑ready avionics that can survive the harsh environment of space.
Experience or coursework related to design and/or analysis of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA).

Responsible for layout and mask design, device evaluation and characterization, test box design, prototype construction and checkout, and determination of wafer fabrication processes. Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests; provides finished device approval; and prepares customer application information.
Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Full-Time Salary Range: $91200.00 - $169400.00
