Job summary

TAD PGS, Inc. in Littleton, CO, is seeking a Circuit Design Engineer to contribute to a state-of-the-art avionics program in a rigorous development environment.

You will design and capture electrical schematics, guide PCB layouts, and perform worst-case analyses on high-reliability hardware. Qualified candidates have a BS in Electrical Engineering or higher, 3+ years in digital circuit design at card/board level, and experience with design verification, aerospace hardware cycles, and strong

  • 3+ years professional experience.
  • Experience in digital circuit design at the card/board level schematic and analysis.
  • Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
  • Experience in different phases of the aerospace hardware development cycle.
  • Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills.

Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for aCircuit Design Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Littleton, COsurrounding area.

Pay Rate: $ 68.51

US Citizenship is required.

Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.

As a Circuit Design Engineer, you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art Avionics product in a world-class Integrated Product Development environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design/Capture electrical schematics and guide the PCB board layouts.

  • Perform electrical worst-case analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.

  • Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world-class avionics systems.

  • Resolve test anomalies and troubleshoot , and generation , review and presentation of Product Certification , and also support system-level testing.

    Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

  • Experience in digital circuit design at the card/board level schematic and analysis.

  • Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.

  • Experience in different phases of the aerospace hardware development cycle.

  • Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.

  • Experience in presentations and in written communication skills .

  • Missile design experience.

  • 3+ years professional experience.

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with a combination of design, test, operations and systems engineering disciplines.

  • Experience in schematic capture using Xpedition or similar tools.

  • Experience with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation tools.

  • Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).

  • Experience performing failure Investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).

  • Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.

  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Adaptable to new situations and demonstrate self-initiative in solving complex problems.

  • Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
