Job summary

Infinity Technical Services Division, Inc. is seeking an experienced Circuit Breaker Reconditioning & Shop Technician for our Spartanburg, SC service facility.

This hands-on role inspects, troubleshoots, reconditions, rebuilds, and tests electrical circuit breakers and related equipment, while supporting daily shop operations such as shipping, receiving, and material handling. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with circuit-breaker mechanisms, electrical controls, and test equipment,

Qualifications

• Experience reconditioning, repairing, or rebuilding circuit breakers.
• Ability to safely operate basic shop equipment and tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and independent work ethic.
• Familiarity with shop, warehouse, or maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble, clean, repair, and test circuit breakers.
• Evaluate breaker mechanisms and electrical controls.
• Diagnose electrical-control and mechanical problems.
• Document repairs and final test results.
• Operate test equipment for primary and secondary injections.
• Maintain orderly shop and handle shipments.
• Open/close the facility and serve as shop contact.
• Coordinate with project managers and customers.
