Job summary

Jabil is seeking an assembly technician to manually place parts on circuit boards in accordance with workmanship standards. You will follow detailed instructions, perform basic assembly operations, and ensure proper labeling and inspection of components.

The role involves working under supervision, maintaining organized work areas, adhering to safety policies, and using standard hand tools and barcode scanning to track progress.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
• Proficient in basic PC usage and software interfaces.
• Ability to write simple notes or reports regarding work.

• Ability to read and interpret visual aids for assembly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
• Perform basic, standardized and repetitive electronic assembly operations and labeling.
• Prepare and manually assemble inserted components per visual aids after verifying specs.
• Visually inspect parts for proper insertion and placement.
• Utilize bar code scanner and small hand tools.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the assigned area.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and company security procedures.
• Maintain progress reports and restock parts bins as required.
