Job summary

United Felts is seeking a Liner Design Technician to translate customer requirements into precise liner construction specifications and to develop BOMs within NetSuite. The role bridges engineering concepts with production execution, ensuring designs meet quality and operational standards.

You will create construction sheets in Excel, manage data accuracy, and collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and documentation control.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with formulas, data, and structured templates.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to interpret technical information, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer POs, specs, and project requirements into liner construction assemblies.
• Interpret inputs including pipe dimensions, pressures, materials, and installation methods.
• Create liner construction sheets using Excel templates and ensure input accuracy.
• Maintain BOMs in NetSuite for dry liners and ensure ERP alignment.
• Distribute construction sheets to production teams and coordinate with operations, quality, and technical teams.
• Assist with updates to design templates, standards, and documentation; participate in training.
