Job summary

Insituform Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Laborer/Installation Technician in Layton, UT to support rehabilitation of sewer and storm water lines. You will work with supervisors and crews, operate and direct equipment, and travel to multiple sites with up to 70% overnight travel.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, CDL Class A/B (or permit) with Hazmat preferred, and 2+ years in outdoor construction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class A/B CDL or permit is required; Hazmat or other endorsements preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in outdoor construction, preferably with CIPP or water/sewer utilities.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to travel overnight, locally and regionally (up to 70% overnight).
• Must pass drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Rehabilitate and repair sewer and storm water lines with supervision.
• Direct operators of construction equipment and adjust machinery.
• Drive vehicles to haul crews and equipment to work sites.
• Assist in setup and cleanup of job sites, lifting 50+ lbs.
• Review permits and pre/post installation videos.
• Enter manholes and confined spaces for installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
