Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a CipherTrust Security Engineer in Columbus, OH. This hands-on role focuses on designing and scaling encryption and key management solutions across Linux and Windows, with automation-driven hardening and secure architecture.

You will work as a security SME on CipherTrust platform, mentor teammates, and drive incident handling, upgrades, and best practices in a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information security engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on with Thales CipherTrust platform and related encryption tech.
• Proficient scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Unix/Linux and Windows systems administration experience with hardening and tuning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Thales CipherTrust platform and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Lead testing, build implementation stories, and support upgrades.
• Mentor engineers, create standards, and document best practices.
• Consult on security engineering initiatives with broad impact.
• Review complex security challenges and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Develop the team through guidance and learning culture.
