Gehl Food & Beverage is seeking a dedicated CIP Technician for the 1st shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM). The role supports sanitation standards, completes Master Sanitation Schedule tasks, and ensures food safety and quality across the facility.

You will perform CIP cleaning on filling machines and production equipment, handle chemicals safely, maintain cleaning records, and participate in ongoing training and team activities to keep operations compliant and efficient.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year sanitation or cleaning experience preferred.
• Able to work extended shifts, weekends, and in physically demanding environments.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate and follow directions in English.
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

Base = $23.00/hour

Position Overview

Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, the CIP Operator is responsible for maintaining sanitation standards and completing Master Sanitation Schedule tasks in accordance with SSOPs, GMPs, safety procedures, and company policies. This role plays a key part in ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance throughout the facility.

What You’ll Do

• Perform CIP cleaning of filling machines and production equipment
• Clean walls, floors, ceilings, vents, piping, and exterior equipment surfaces
• Safely handle chemicals, sanitation tools, and steam-driven hot water hoses
• Respond to sanitation emergencies including spills and tank cleaning
• Operate ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, and COP tanks
• Perform chemical titrations and transport chemical drums as needed
• Follow HACCP, GMP, PPE, and all food safety procedures
• Complete sanitation documentation and maintain cleaning records
• Participate in training, meetings, and team activities
• Work independently while maintaining high-sanitation standards
• Other duties as assigned.
