Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is seeking a Sanitor to clean and sanitize food processing equipment and production areas in compliance with FDA regulations and company standards. You will maintain CIP operations, verify chemical concentrations and temperatures, and support audit readiness.

Requirements include 1–3 years of sanitation experience, CIP systems familiarity, and the ability to read SOPs/SSOPs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
1–3 years sanitation experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment.
Experience with CIP systems strongly preferred.
Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMPs, and sanitation practices.
Ability to read and follow SOPs, SSOPs, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and sanitation per SSOPs and SOPs.
Operate and monitor CIP systems, ensuring correct concentrations, temps, flow, and cycles.
Safely mix and apply chemicals following SDS and guidelines.
Disassemble/reassemble equipment for COP as required.
Conduct pre-operational inspections to verify cleanliness.
Maintain sanitation logs and CIP documentation; report deficiencies.
Identify and report sanitation issues or food safety risks.
Follow PPE requirements and safety procedures for CIP activities.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CIP systems and verify key parameters.
