Job summary

Conagra Brands is hiring a CIP Operator for the Council Bluffs, IA facility to inspect and sanitize equipment, ensuring GMP, safety, and 5S standards. The 3rd shift runs 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with an hourly rate of $23.42.

You will support sanitation, disassemble/reassemble equipment, and help prepare lines for cleaning while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have Lockout Tagout certification.
• Knowledge of plant safety and waste disposal methods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean equipment and work areas per GMP, safety and 5S standards.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required following policy and procedure.
• Prepare production equipment for cleaning following Lockout Tagout procedures.
• Conduct visual and swab inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness.

You will report to the Sanitation Supervisor and join a team of about 60. Shift: This role is 3rd shift, 10:30pm – 7am. Monday through Friday. Location: Located at 1023 S 4th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51503 Hourly Rate: $23.42 an hour

Food safety and cleanliness is crucial to our business, making your role supporting the cleanliness of our plant machinery an essential part of our daily operations to ensure standards are maintained You will be helping to prepare production equipment for cleaning following Lockout Tagout procedures Inspections are key to ensure sanitation effectiveness; you will provide both visual and swab checks periodically Minimum downtime is important to our facilities, keeping this top of mind when performing pre-operational and sanitation processes and inspections
