Qualifications

• Valid Texas Driver License and pre-employment checks required.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years of Engineering CIP or equivalent experience
• Associate’s degree preferred, with college-level coursework or vocational training in Engineering, Accounting, or related fields
• One (1) year of experience in contract monitoring, insurance, bonds, and municipal CIP projects preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite required; experience with Smartsheet, TRACKiT, STW, and Canva preferred
• Valid Texas Driver License required
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test, criminal background check, and MVR check

Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, assist in administrative support for the Engineering Capital Improvement Program including:

• CIP project accounting
• Contract support
• Customer assistance
• Record-keeping for departmental budgets
• Preparation of financial reports for budgets and CIP projects
• Procurement and project implementation support
• Project budget management, payments, and invoicing
• Facilitate and document CIP design, construction, and budget management
• Assist administrative staff and provide customer service support as needed
