Job summary

S&D Coffee is seeking a CIP/COP Systems Associate to oversee cleaning of equipment and facilities, titrate industrial cleaners, and operate CIP/COP programs to uphold SQF level 3 cleanliness. You will work with the Production Supervisor to manage plant sanitation, safety, and continuous improvement, and to maintain accurate cleaning records and regulatory documentation.

This full-time role reports to the Production Supervisor, has no direct reports, and requires teamwork and strict adherence to

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial sanitation and CIP/COP processes.
• Familiarity with SQF and FDA sanitation standards.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work with production teams and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all sanitation, equipment and facility cleaning programs, and documentation are completed according to policy and guidelines.
• Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of the warehouse, changing room, and staging areas.
• Conduct pre-op and post-op inspections to verify clean facilities and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of plant exterior areas and timely trash removal.
• Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies to ensure adequacy.
• Complete tasks per the master sanitation schedule efficiently.
• Perform routine PMs on sanitation equipment to keep it functioning.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly labeled.
• Assist internal and 3rd party audits of SQF and FDA systems.
• Report food safety/sanitation issues to Supervisors.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maintain daily sanitation compliance.
• Operate all required Material Handling Equipment.

Job description

We are currently seeking a CIP/COP (Clean in Place/Clean out of Place) Systems Associate to join our organization. The CIP/COP Systems Associate will facilitate and execute the cleaning of equipment and facilities, titrate industrial cleaning chemicals, and operate CIP/COP programs and correctly manage cleaning records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety, and environmental laws. The candidate will work directly with production Supervisor and the Liquid Lead to manage plant safety, sanitation, and continuous improvement programs to ensure that the facility is maintained at SQF level 3 standards for cleanliness. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and has no direct reports.

• Ensure all sanitation, equipment and facility cleaning programs, and documentation are completed according to policy and guidelines
• Ensures the housekeeping and cleanliness of the warehouse, changing room, and staging areas
• Conducts required pre-op and/or post-op inspections to ensure the facilities and equipment are clean prior to start/stop of operations
• Ensures the cleanliness the plant exterior (associate entrances, docks, dumpster areas, and QA/QC lab) and assuring trash in emptied on a timely basis
• Manages the inventory of cleaning chemicals and cleaning tools to ensure adequate
• supplies are always available
• Completes tasks and duties as outlined in the master sanitation schedule efficiently
• Performs routine PM's on sanitation equipment to ensure the equipment is functioning properly
• Ensures ALL cleaning equipment (pump sprayers, foaming unit, sinks, etc.) are properly
• labeled
• Assists and participates in internal and 3rd party audits of SQF and FDA systems to help ensure compliance
• Reports all food safety/sanitation issues to the Production and QA Supervisor
• Routinely collaborates with co-workers to ensure daily compliance in sanitation and help ensure guidelines are followed throughout the plant
