Job summary

Basin Electric Power Cooperative is seeking a CIP Compliance Administrator to monitor and report on CIP compliance with NERC, MRO, and WECC standards. The role focuses on ensuring cyber and physical security of the BES and requires collaboration with multiple business units and the Security/Compliance department.

The candidate will assist in guidance on CIP requirements under supervision, participate in standard development, and may represent Basin Electric in industry meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ABET-accredited engineering or related field.
• Associate’s degree in CS/IT/cybersecurity with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop reports to ensure CIP compliance.
• Administer ICP for CIP standards.
• Review and ballot NERC reliability standards and measurements.
• Represent Basin Electric at meetings and submit data to NERC/MRO/WECC.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
