Job summary

Ultimate Fighting Championship in Las Vegas seeks a seasoned cinematographer to capture high-end content for field shoots and studio productions across UFC Fight Pass and broadcast partners.

You will lead lighting design, camera operation, and collaborate with producers, directors, and editors. 5+ years of professional experience and knowledge of ARRI Amira, ARRI Alexa Mini, Sony FS7 are required; travel and irregular hours expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience shooting a wide variety of content for all media platforms, in both field and studio environments.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Must be knowledgeable about the latest cinematography techniques and visual trends.

Responsibilities

  • Creates high-end visual styles using lighting and camera techniques for field and studio shoots.
  • Shoots for long-form documentaries and promos for UFC Fight Pass and broadcast partners.
  • Directs lighting design and setup for shoots of various sizes.
  • Captures cinematic documentary footage at UFC live events and locations.
  • Collaborates with producers, directors, writers, editors, and other shooters on projects.
  • Keeps up-to-date with filming technology and techniques.
  • Works irregular schedule with nights, weekends, and travel.
