Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Lab Technician for a 6-month contract with potential for permanent hire. You will work in a fast-paced laboratory, handling samples, performing tests, and maintaining documentation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years lab or science coursework, strong attention to detail, good data entry skills, and willingness to OT and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of lab/quality/science coursework required.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer and data-entry experience.
• Able to perform analytical tasks and follow procedures.
• Able to lift/move lab materials in a hands-on setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, log, and organize incoming samples.
• Prepare and stage samples for analysis.
• Perform testing per SOP after training.
• Prepare reagents, QC samples, and calibration standards.
• Record and verify test results with proper documentation.
• Enter data into lab systems and maintain instrument logs.
• Monitor supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment.
• Assist with moving sample containers and materials.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
