Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include degrees and extensive industry experience.
• Five or more years in one of the listed fields.
• DOL Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship experience.
• Twenty years or more of industry experience foundational to teaching.
• Experience with community college teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select and develop instructional materials; plan and organize instruction to enhance student learning.
• Use a variety of engagement and assessment methods to facilitate mastery of learning outcomes.
• Provide constructive, encouraging, and corrective feedback to students.
• Evaluate student learning and modify instructional methods to meet diverse needs.
• Meet classes as scheduled and notify the division chair of any absences in advance.
• Monitor email and respond to students promptly and help with syllabi distribution.
• Prepare and distribute syllabi per procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance; report as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records per law and policy.
• Complete mandatory training and follow college policies.
• Exercising stewardship in using college facilities and materials.
• Implement learning outcomes assessment activities and report data timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
