Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Cardiac ICU (CICU) nurse to provide direct patient care in a high-acuity environment.

The CICU cares for cardiogenic shock, MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest, with specialized devices and critical care lines. The RN will participate in care planning, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate patients and families on post-treatment care.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ASN required.
• RN license required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient- and family-centered care.

• Develop and document plans of care with the interprofessional team.
