Job summary

A leading IT systems integrator is looking for a CICS Systems Administrator for a 6-month project in Omaha, Nebraska. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of CICS file maintenance and be proficient in JCL and TSO ISPF. Responsibilities include performing maintenance tasks on the CICSTS42 System and implementing changes in a large multi-region environment. The role requires availability for night and weekend work. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing CICSTS42 CSD Maintenance.
• Preferred experience with IBM Mainframe Operations and CICS.
• Ability to work Nights and Weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CICSTS42 System Definition (CSD) files via online and batch.
• Use DFHCSDUP for FCT extracts, alters, and updates.
• Build JCL Job Streams and Control Cards using TSO ISPF.
• Implement changes in batch using z/OS JES II JCL.
