Job summary

Adient US LLC in Normal, IL seeks a Continuous Improvement Process Manager to lead plant-wide initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost using Lean, Six Sigma and operational excellence.

You will drive the CI roadmap, facilitate Kaizen events, coach teams, and develop standard work while partnering with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and HR to deliver measurable results across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Strong project management, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication and change management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement strategy and roadmap for the plant.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Drive KPI improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.
• Coach leaders and employees on Lean and problem-solving methodologies.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase productivity and reduce operating costs.
• Develop standard work and sustainment processes to ensure long-term results.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR teams.
• Monitor project progress and communicate results to leadership.
• ODS update and implement process change supported by Material, launch, OPS, Maintenance.

Position Summary

The Continuous Improvement Manager leads plant-wide initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence principles.

Key Responsibilities
